Nepacs is a north east charity which aims to promote a positive future for prisoners, offenders and their relatives by supporting family ties at every stage of the criminal justice system.
eople often leave prison with underlying support needs. The period of transition from custody to community can often be extremely challenging, particularly for individuals lacking the right support to find a job or somewhere to live. So ex-offenders can find themselves homeless or back in prison.
At Groundwork Greater Manchester, we are establishing new programmes of learning to support unemployed adults to get started in a career in construction connected with property retrofitting.
The Well is a vibrant community of people. Together, we support each other and we believe wholeheartedly that recovery is possible for anyone. AA is concerned solely with the personal recovery and continued sobriety of individual alcoholics who turn to the Fellowship for help.
Our aim and purpose is to bring recovery to others,
especially by means of home-based treatment.
All our programmes are abstinence-based. Most do not require residential rehabilitation and so allow clients to continue their usual activities while finding the route to normal living.
